Mirror Mountain Pictures (MMP) was formed in 2006, primarily to facilitate the completion of the animated feature film ‘Tengers’, Michael J. Rix’s pet project over the previous 8 years. MMP is now a fully-functioning film and television production company, with Final Cut Pro editing facilities and High Definition camera gear, focused on the development and production of short and feature film projects. Since its inception, Mirror Mountain Pictures has gone on to win numerous international awards for its modest canon of film product:

‘Tengers’ – Best Animated Feature Film, DIY Film Festival, Los Angeles 2007 (also selected for numerous other international film festivals)

‘Scooped Up’ – Winner 24 Hour Film Challenge, Cannes Film Festival, France 2007

‘Teddy’ – Winner, 1st round, Filmaka.com online short film contest, Los Angeles 2007

'New Teddy' – Jury level short film, Filmaka.com, L.A. 2007

'Unleashed' – Commissioned for JWT Detroit as part of a marketing campaign for the upcoming Ford Mustang launch.
